It was named the Dorothy C. Engle Future Teachers Club in honor of our sponsor, Miss Dorothy C. Engle. The main purpose of the club is to promote a better understanding of the duties of the teaching profession, One of our greatest ambitions is to be recognized as one of the most active clubs in the school. 9

The Future Farmers of America is a national organization of farm boys reaching from the state of Wash- ington to Puerto Rico and from Maine to Hawaii. Founded in 1928, the Future Farmers of America are celebrating their 26th year. This organization uses parliamentary procedure and believes that a chapter is no better than its officers. The Sutton Chapter, which is one of the oldest in the state of West Virginia, consists of four degrees of membership. The Future Farmers strive to live by their motto: Learning to Do Doing to Learn Earning to Live Living to Serve. 37
