The Student Council is an organization of students working together with their sponsors suggesting ideas for the improvement of our school. Our greatest task as a project was the organization of the Intramural Basketball Conference, under the leadership of Mr. Roy J. Brosius. Other projects undertaken by the council during the year were: collecting toys for needy children at Christmas, social calendar, recreation rooms and study hall at noon hour. Delegates were sent to the North Central District meeting at Lost Creek, to gain more information and suggestions to better the council. Jolm McLaughlin, president of our council and also serving as president of the district, presided over this meeting. Other officers of the council are: Randall Greene, Vice President, Marjorie Robinson, Secretary: Sue Moore, Treasurer, with Mr. Roy J. Brosius and Mrs. John Thomas Jr. as sponsors. 34-
