MR. HEBER R. MUTCH Supervising Principal Ephrata High School A.B., Lebanon Valley College M.Ed., Temple University You have served part of your apprenticeship as builders in the Susquehannock School. Your teachers, parents, guardians and pastors have been trying to help you develop and build character throughout these years, as well as well-educated children. Grad- uation is a time for new thoughts and purposes and for renewing lagging interests. BUILD lt is so difficult to build- So easy to tear down- A reputation or concern Of merited renown. So build and boost and benefit Just everything you can- Because the fellow who tears down ls not a friend of man. -Selected ADMlNlS No building is stronger than its founda- tion, as was told us so long ago by the Great Teacher in His story of the two houses, one built upon sand, the other upon rock. You students at Susquehannock are laying the foundation upon which your later life will be built. We teachers can give you the materials and can show you where and how to build, but we cannot build for you, that, only you can do. Your choices now, your workmanship now, will help determine how well your structure will withstand the stresses and strains to come. It is our earnest hope that every student will build the best foundation of which he is capable. MR. RALPH A. BORTNER Principal Codorus Twp. High School B.S., M.S., Gettysburg College
