Principal’s Message As members of the Class of 1987, yours is the 26th class to be graduated from our high school. Congratulations on a job well done. Undoubtedly as the years pass, you will look through this book many times reminiscing about your high school days. One memory I would like you to always carry with you is the fact that Susquehanna Valley High School has been honored by the State Education Department as being one of the top sixteen high schools in New York state. We are as proud of this recognition, as I'm sure you are. We have been able to excel because of our dedicated staff, our fine programs, and most importantly, because of you our students who have made the most of what we have been able to offer you. You are family and as you take your place in the adult world, we will miss you. Think of us from time to time, stop in to visit whenever possible. We will remember you with a fondness that has grown over the last three years. In closing, I wish all of you the best of luck in the future. I know you will make us proud of your accomplishments. ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE The Class of 1987 has been especially close to me because you are the people who made me feel comfortable here at SV when I came three years ago. As your teacher, my fondest recollections are those of your dedication and kindness especially toward me, a stranger in your midst three years ago. As your class moderator, I have been impressed by your great school spirit and your willingness to work hard. As Assistant Principal, I have come to respect your responsibility and initiative particularly con- cerning school projects.
