SCHOLASTIC PRIDE The National Honor Society consists of students who excel in scholarship, character, leadership and service; they have achieved a scholastic average of 90 at the time of induction. In striving to be of service to the school, the society provides peer tutoring and assistance in the taping of books for learning disabled students. They also participate in a student challenge at Tompkins-Cortland Community Col- lege, and raise funds for their annual induction ceremony. NOS GUST AMOS ESPANOL The members of the Spanish Club, under the supervision of Mrs. Sharon Baldwin, cooperate in group activities to foster inter- national understanding. These activities in- clude making and selling Christmas Pinatas, a Mexican meal at the El Cholo Cafe, pro- moting a bowling contest, participating in a Foreign Lanuage Fair, speaking Spanish at the Emerson weekend, and organizing a white elephant auction.
