SABER TALES — ENTERTAINMENT ORCHESTRA P. 21 FIDDLE-FADDLE This year the SV Senior High Orchestra, under the direction of Mrs. Kay Nemire. participated in four concerts. Working towards yet another A rating in NYSSMA competition, the or- chestra rehearses on ACE days, Mods 13 and 14. SV is fortunate to have an ongoing string program at all levels. Through parental, stu- dent and administrative sup- port. the program has continued strong since the school began. “Being in orchestra has enabled and prepared me to participate in other musical organizations outside of school, says Junior Jan Naugle. The benefits of our music programs extend much farther than the walls of SVHS. Individal members also represented SV at Area-All-State and the NYSSMA solo competi- tions. further demonstrating the high level of musicianship pre- sent in this organization.
