Princrpal as Message As our second class to graduate, you faced a great challenge in the precedent established by the class of '62, Iwould say you have accepted the challenge and have written an enviable page in the annals of Susquehanna Valley High School. Your industry and zest for success are highly commendable. I have admired your maturity and have been proud of your achievements. The demands of a competitive generation have not changedg you, too, must be ready to master them. Attack these demands with the same zest you have displayed within these edu- cational walls and you will succeed. Look not to great feats that will place you on the pinnacle of success in one tremendous surge of effort. On the contrary, place your confidence in the continuous drive of everyday achieve- ments, no matter how small they may seem. Frame each achievement within your goal, and realize that time is the wisdom of life. If you can do this, you will learn that a man's reach must exceed his grasp if humanity is to achieve progress. I know that you are equal to the task. Alam?

Dedication We, the graduating class of 1963, proudly dedicate our Yearbook to Mr. Anthony M. Sacco, Director of Guidance in the Susquehanna Valley Central Schools. Mr. Sacco joined our system in September 1950, as a guidance counselor and a teacher in Julius Rogers School. When our new high school opened in September 1958, he joined the staff as boys' counselor. In addition to his cormseling duties, he was instrumental in the planning that was so necessary to the success of the new school. Mr. Sacco was appointed in the fall of 1959 as Director of Guidance for the entire system. Being conscientious, effective, and well-liked is a unique blending of qualities which Mr. Sacco possesses in abundance. His door is ever open to all who seek his counsel, and his warm personality enriches each who comes in contact with him. Liking people is his specialty, and his tireless labor in behalf of us and our school inspire his co-workers and the student body alike. These are the attributes for which Mr. Sacco will be fondly remembered by the Class of '63.
