Sunset High School Parent-Teacher Association, Organized in 1925, is a unit of the National Congress and the Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers, and is a member of the Dallas City Council of Parent-Teacher Associations. It has the largest membership of any Parent-Teacher Association in the city and is one of the largest in Texas. This marks the second year that a College Scholarship has been given to a deserving graduate of Sunset High School. The development of this organization has become a factor in under- standing, supporting, and interpreting education. The motto of this Association is In essentials, unityg in non-essentials, libertyg ,in all things, charityf, Meetings are held on the second Friday of each month at 10:00 A. M. in the school auditorium. Parents and teachers are urged to become members and take their place in developing Hne relationships in family, school, and community life.
