our new cheer leaders! Sunset beat Denton Teachers' College Second Team 27-o.

4-The Public Speaking Department gave a clever play advertising the Stampede.

X-The new A. Z. pledges are certainly glad tomorrow's a holiday. They won't have
sardines and onions for dinner! Stampede Staff meets.

-High School Day at the Fair. Waco defeated us zo-6. Anyway, we made a good
showing, and we're mighty proud of our team!
-Spent nearly all morning making out enrollment cards. l'eriods were short, but
not so short that the teachers didn't have time to make long assignments!
-French Club meets. Everybody get after that dollar for the Stampede!
Pep assembly. Meeting of Sundial Staff, Stampede Staff, Girl Reserx-'es, and 4,B's,
IS-joint meeting of 3A's and 38,3 to plan for pins. Stay in there, Juniors!
Another pep assembly, which of course ended with Mr. Chalk's favorite yell,
"Fight, Team, Fight!"
-'l'his is certainly a day worth putting on the calendar. Sunset trimmed Central

26-1B Weiner Roast. Say, kids, if you want a real treat, go to North Dallas High
tonight and her Miss Luisa lispiuel sing Spanish folk songs.
NVe defeated North Side, lo-0. Yea, team! lfrench Club meets.
30-The Stampedt-'s out. Say, it's great! Report cards also-not so good.
31-Pep assembly. l'li-Y's, junior Hi-Y's, and 4A's meet. VVon't be much studying
tonight. It's Hallowe'en!
In a Sportsmanship assembly this morning student representatives from Forest
and members of the faculty urged us to be good sportsmen during tomorrow's
game with Forest. Meeting of Stampede Stall' and G-irl Reserves.
Forest defeated us 20-0. But, boys, it isntt whether we win or lose-it's how we
play the game!
313 meeting. Paul Richter is certainly rushing Mozelle McDougal.
Meeting of 2B's and 4B's. Tryouts for Senior play.
Scholarship Club members meet to elect ofiicers. Business Staili of Sundial meets.
Pep assembly. Girl Reserves meet. 'l'he Health Club gave a peppy matinee dance
in the "Gyn1', this afternoon.
Goodwill assembly. Sunset defeated North Dallas, 20-0. 'l'hree cheers for Sunset!
It's too bad Armistice Day had to come on Sunday-but anyway' we celebrated
by having a nice long assembly today. 3A,s, Scholarship Club, and Stampede
Spanish Club meets. Looks like Vaudine liauman's going to be leading lady in all
the plays. Stay in there, Vaudine!
Scholarship Club 'l'heater Party. Meeting of zB's, 3B's, and French Club. .tflls
meet and decide on "caps and gowns" for graduation.
15-Another pep assembly! Girl Reserves-"Bird's Eye View of Famous Women."
Senior rings are here at last!
17-Sunset defeated Highland Park, 36-6. Nine For team!
19-Hey, Seniors! Get your pictures made for the Sundial-you're just got until
20-Meeting of 4,B's and of Sundial Staff. Spanish Club meets to order pins.
21-Pep assembly. We wonder who writes all the "nice poetry" in 3B Hall.
22-In assembly this morning Mr. Zellner imitated UMark Twain" and "Huckleberry
Finn." Everybody be sure to go to see him this afternoon in the auditorium.
Girl Reserves meet.
-We're going to have a red hot pep rally at school tonight. Everyone come and
bring your mother and dad! To explain the rush and confusion of the fairer
sex in the hall at 3:00 o'clock-james Hall, the movie actor, was here at school!
Nov 26-Sunset defeated Oak Clitl' zo-o! Yea, liisons! French Club meets.
Nov. 27-Turkey dinner today-but alas! hash tomorrow.
Nov 28-We had a red hot pep assembly this morning! Forest is ineligible-so boys,
I things may be different yet! The Public Speaking play, "The Rejuvenation of
Aunt Mary" was a huge success.
