As citizens of the great state of Arizona, we too are cognizant of the sun and its effect. Our farming industry, the tourist trade, and the great industrial plants of our valley are all dependent on the great source of power, the sun. Just as the sun played such a vital role in the life of the Aztecs, so the sun plays a vital role in our lives. Our school life is divided in this annual into four classes of activi- ties: INSTRUCTIONAL, PHYSICAL, ORGANIZATIONAL, and RECREATION- AL, just as the lives of the ancient Aztecs could be classified into these four catagories.
