After a slow start, Lewis became well known for his dribbling passing, and constribution of points in vital moments. These boys were ably helped by Pete Pope, Jimmy McCuiston, and Sherman Canter. Young players showing promise were Benny Stroupe, Bill McGee, Larry Wyrick, Bobby Foust, Ed¬ ward Foust, and Colin Edwards.
