11 SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Charles Arnold Dorothy Skeen June McClellan and Leonard Fugate SENIORS LOOK FORWARD lt s the beginning of the end' Yes it s the beginning of the end when orders for cards invitations caps and gowns were taken and when we planned for the annual trip of the senior class to Washington D C Really this year is not the end, but a beginning, Many are planning to enter college next year, some will be getting jobs, others taking the marriage vows, yet many will begin business ventures. The members of the class who were on the annual staff worked long hours planning a yearbook which would be a joy to all readers and a source of pride to the senior class. We were excited with the realization of our being seniors the day we were measured for caps and gowns, and gave our order for diploma covers and announcements. The senior play meant long hours of rehearsing and stage planning. Lucky were the ones who proved themselves actors in this annual event. Members of our class received honorary awards in sports, citizenship, and scholastic capacity. We are all looking forward to graduation, when we will prove our dignity and receive our honorable degrees with a note of solemnity and maybe a tear shed for the good ol' school days, and a beginning of life on our own. To do the lOl little jobs which arise in a senior class were: Leonard Fugate, President, Charles Arnold, vice-president, June McClellan, secretary, and Dorothy Skeen, treasurer, I8
