Presentation EDITORS OF THE 1960 SAGITTA Joan Root, Business Co-Manager; Patricia Orr, Associate Editor; Carol Ann Conway, Editor-in-Chief; Thomas Ganley, Business Co-Manager. BACK ROW: Sandra Eigenbrod, Art Co-Editor; Richard Holcomb, Photog¬ raphy; Barbara Roalf, Art Co-Editor; Henry Balch, Advertising; Frank Beneski, Sports Editor; Thomas Orr, Advertising; Judith Shafer, Copy; Janet Osowiecki, Circulation. The staff of the 1960 Sagitta is proud to present this yearbook. We leave this book behind us as a record of our accomplishments during our high school career, especially those of our senior year. Each senior has contributed in some way to its context, whether he was an avid student, athlete, or a combination of both. In the following pages one is able to see us as we are today, seniors in high school. One may read the glory of victory which we were proud to bring to our school both scholastically and athletically. There is much work and responsibility in the publication of a yearbook. We would like to thank Mr. Kennedy, our yearbook advisor, for his time, patience and guidance, and the faculty for their kind cooperation with us. E ch of us has attempted to capture in pictures and words our life at Suffield High School, so that many years from now, we will be able to open this book and recapture our happiest days, with all the vibrant joy, sudden sadness, and hectic fun. We have strived to create a year¬ book that will do this, realizing that we will never pass this way again.

Dedication We of the class of 1960 are proud to dedicate our yearbook, the “Sagitta,” to our advisors. To Mrs. Ganiev and Mr. Kennedy who have been with us for ail six years goes our heartfelt gratitude for their understanding guidance. Our special thanks go to Mr. Shields who joined us in our senior year. Although he was only with us for one year, w ' e benefited from his experience, knowledge, and warm personality. This dedication would be incomplete without mention of Mr. O’Malley who, although he left us in our junior year, will always remain in our memory. Each has helped us through our high school career, guiding us, counseling us, and trying his best to make each of us a good citizen. We hope to prove with our lives that their efforts have not been in vain.
