THE KNITTING CLUB Fifty girls constituted the second year of the Knitting Club They made socks and sw eaters for the Army ind Navy There were no regular meetings but the girls were helped by the two advisors Miss Perry and Mrs Seymour THE READERS RlElFlLlECTllON Bill Grithn was the Editor in chief and Ruth Stebbins was the Associate editor the nrtionxl contest of the Lolumbm Scholastic Press Association This year proved to bc 1 prosptrous one for the magizine The club vias able to send eighteen students md two mtmbers of the ficulty to attend the convention at Columbia With continued tooperrtion the mrbizine should gain 1 first place rating at the Columbia Press Con vention next year I8 1 Y Y 1 I , I A I Y The improvement of the art and literary sections aided greatly in our placing third in ' 1 e .
