For the ninth year in succession Coach George Fuge's wrestlers took first place honors. In county competition the Mounties recorded 234 points as compared to 'I9 for the combined efforts of their opponents. The matmen also walked off with nine of the twelve possible first-place medals in the county individual tournament at the end of the season. .lack Canty, Don Ward, Clit? Ward, John Brendel, Alan Canty, Ira Barry, Sherm Burres, Bob Stoughton and Guinelle McMillan were first place winners at this tournament. This year's squad was captained by two veteran wrestlers, Sherm Burres and Binky Ward.
