Peggy Blackmory Doris Bishop, loan Poli rd lticfk Harnmans, Frank Essex, President Student Coun il Frank Essex was elected President and Donny Loveless elected Vice Presi- dent by popular vote of the student body. The following students were elected by their classes: Seniors, Peggy Blacknion, Howard l-larnrnans, lack Dews, Kathryn Wallworthg luniors, Gay Gillette, Ioan Pollard, Doris Bishop, Charles Montgomery, Sophomores, lane l-lammans and lohn Hagan: Freshmen, Ern- rnett Parker, Harold Churchill. The Student Council sponsored a Bond Sale in Which bonds were sold in the library every period. February 6th, the council sponsored a Marion- ette Show. The council also up ci Last and Found deoarrznenl in the window ot the library. A rnernber ol the council was in charge ot the depairtnicnt each period. The Student Council was instrumental in getting the street South ot the school building made a one-way street during school hours. The council members attended two lnter-City Student Council meetings, one at Wynne and one at Forrest City and he regional meeting at Little Ftoclc. They also published the lnter-City Student Council Bulletin. The faculty adviser is C. F. Sanders.
