Another year at the Sturgis Youth
Center has ended with many memories
of haplOY times. This year the Youth
Center was open to Sr. High on Tues.
and Fri. nights. The facilities were turned
over to the Jr. High's on Sat. night.
The Christmas Formal was largely at-
tended by the Sr. High's with Bud Doty
furnishing music for dancing. The
Homecoming Dance was sponsored by
the Youth Center with Bud Doty's orches-
A dance was held to raise funds for
the United Fund Drive and the Youth
Center co-operated with the Elks Club in
A very successful vacation program
was carried out last summer in which
Sr. High Students had access to the
center one night a week.
The Youth Center officers are Presi-
dent, Dennis McCarthy, Vice-President,
Linda Wyer, Treasurer, Rick Fields, and
Secretary, Connie Lahmeyer.
