The Scoopers for the second consecutive year placed in the upper division of the Black l-lills Conference, ranking fourth in both i944 and l94S. The total wins for this vear's season were l4 and the total losses were 9, The Scoopers' points totaled 644, and the opponents' read 574. The Scoopers ended one of the most successful seasons in years with 8 conference wins and 6 losses, The starting lineup for the games usually included Solmonson at center, Harri- son and Crrunwald, guards, and Linstrom and Sinclair at the forward positions. Substi- tutes who saw rnuch action werei Conklin and Kinney, forwards, Scherer at center, and Blaess and Beehler, guards. When the Scooper cage season opens in l946, the Scoopers will have as formidable a team as they ever have had and no doubt will rebreak the record of '44 and '45,
