The doors swing wide as new and bewildered faces appear. Four seniors and two sophomores are the selected few on the cheering squad. Pep Assembly for new cheerleaders to show us how they encourage the team. Sturgeon Bay loses to Oconto in last minutes 113-73. Gloom rains on Sturgeon Bay as we get swamped, 138-OJ, by Kewaunee. Sophs sponsor Sock Dance. OCTOBER Bum's day! Assembly! Bonfire! Youth Center Dance! What a day! Mr. Moreau's Seniors take first prize on winning float. Beat by E. DePere 7-0, but an overwhelming crowd at the dance for Margery's crowning squares things up. Frosh-Soph team beats Algoma. Happy days are here again as we tip second place Oconto Falls, 19-6. Butch Haen and Van Doxtater score, with Ronnie Lau converting for the extra point. Alas! Our glory is shortlived as we lose a fighting game with Pulaski 6-0. G. A. A. sponsors dance. Frosh-Soph team again beats Algoma! Special assembly. Puppet show on Cinderella. Pep assembly. Competitive yelling with Seniors taking top honors. We won the traditional Sturgeon Bay-Algoma game, 7-6. Emil's pass complete to Bob Guth with Ronnie Lau converting for the extra point really showed them our stuff. Halloween! School dis-missed at noon for teachers convention. NOVEMBER Oh, well. it was all too good to be true anyway so here we are back again. General assembly. Movies from the Curtis Publishing Co. Non-conference basketball game vvfith Sevastopol, there. B team wins. Varsity also wins 39-32. Why are there so many couples this week? Oh, yes! Sadie Hawkins. Non-conference basketball game with Gibraltar. B team wins. So does the varsity, again with that score 39-32. 22-23 It's Thanksgiving and we've really something to be thankful for, 26 30 no school today or tomorrow. Speaker on Atomic Energy. 7 Game here with Algoma. We lose 56-49. 11 On the road again as we travel to West DePere, only to face defeat, 76-35. 13 General assembly. We see air! lliquid airl. 14 Kewaunee, here. Hurray! We win 47-50. 18 Game with Seymour-Too bad as we lose by only two points 442-401. 20 School dismissed for holidays after Christmas E. C. E. R. assembly. Seniors take honors with those dollar donations. The right to select a Camival queen is their reward. 28 A11 eyes are glittering because it's a grand night for the White Christmas Formal. JANUARY 7 Back again. school has to start because there's a lot of sleep to catch up on. 10 Movie in. general ammbly. School bus saftey is emphasized. 11 Pep assembly. We seem to have lost that old zip. What happened? 12 After a long rest period the Bays again hit the road for League action with Oconto. Results? We lost 479-331. 15 Pulaski, here. Three cheers for our second victory 136-293. 18 Freshmen sponsor a Leap Year dance. 19 Fond du Lac ! ! ! Fun for Mariners. 24 March of Dimes Program. 25 East DePere, here. We lost, 37-48. Junior class sponsor a movie, Ourtown. after the March of Dimes Program which they won. 29 Terry Pisha is elected carnival queen. Game with Algoma there. 31 We get in a marvelous mood due to the Singing Marines. Too good in fact for the exams which follow. FEBRUARY 1 Still exams. West DePere here. Oh well. we're use to it by now. 5 Game with Kewaunee. there. 8 Seymour, there. Be patient, we can't low many more 'cause the season's almost over. 13 Mary Fischer and Bill Bohler are elected King and Queen of the Ice-Carnival. 13-14 Fnotlights presents their talents in the play, Good Housekeeping. 15 Final Pep awembly. Coach gives an inspiring talk, which must have done the trick, for we beat Oconto Falls, 44-36. 22 Sturgeon'Bay at Pulaski. Zi E. C. E. R. Carnival. Terry is crowned 'queen. 24-25-26-27 Five Senior girls tour the University of Wisconsin during Career Days. 25 District tournament begins. We lose the opener to Luxemburg, 34-73. 28 Special awembly. Could that have been Donald Duck in perscm?
