B SQUAD Mr. Ross starting the season with a group of inexperienced Freshmen and Sophomores, whipped together a team that held its own against much larger and experienced players. Winning one-half of its games, the B squad showed up well in the record books and the experience gained should be of great value in the future. Mr. Olson starting the season with a group of inexperienced play- ers, whipped together a team that did justice to itself early in the season. Winning three and losing thirteen, the squad did not show up very well in the rec- ord books, but the skill that was gained will surely pay off in the form of the future vic- tories. The Sturgeon Bay Track squad showed great strength as 97 boys came out for this sport in the high school. With only 10 letter- men, Mr. Freiman had to do much to whip these recruits into a suitable track squad. Sturgeon Bay trackmen face the cindermen of other schools in dual meets, invitational, district and conference meets. Duc to the fact that a new track was made this year, most of these contests were held at home. Track ff' -.1 .. is--'- vii -i-1 ,,,..gn-ni-I ..i..-- April 19 Green Bay West at Green Bay.
