The Latin club is composed of all stu- dents who are taking Latin or who have taken it. The purpose of this club is to stimulate interest in Roman life and customs! The ad- visor of this nine year old organization is Mrs. Marie Anderson. Treiva Anderson was the dictator fpresidentj. The two main events of the year are the Saternalia in December tsimilar to Christ- masj and the celebration of the Ides of March in the spring. Both events are sponsored in the best Roman style, with Roman dress, food, and entertainment. For the last five years the club has been sponsoring a family of four in Germany. Thirty-nine

Two judging teams were sent to Green Lake to the State F.F.A. The F.F.A. had two basketball teams which played various F.F.A. teams within the district. Thirty-eight Officers for this year were President, Jerome Frandag Vice-president, Leroy Liebcg Secretary, Gerald Wetakg Treasurer, James Marrowg Reporter, George Bergslandg and Sentinel, Cyrus Kerscher.

Goldman, M. Thorson, R. Newman, Jer. Kintopf. Kramer, Harr: Polecheck. Willems. Mr. Freeman. Band The Northeastern Wisconsin Music Fes- tival was held in Sturgeon Bay this year. Mr. Freeman supervised and planned the fes- tival, thereby making the occasion very suc cessful. The Sturgeon Bay band members were awarded eleven first-stars entitling these people to attend the state tournaments at Madison. The numbers played included selec- tions from Peer Gynts' Suite and Orlando Palandrino by Haydn. Entertainment at our football and basketball games was also pro- vided by the band.
