Vincentls loveliesl girls vie for beauty crowns The six lovely candidates for the 1965 Spokesman Queen were chosen by the students of Strong Vincent. The nominees were Emily Fatica, Kathy Ponsford, Jeanne Riester, Wendy McLallen, Marcia Prassack, and Kathy Turify. To win the honor of Track Queen, Janet Colao sold the greatest number of tickets to the meet. Strong Vincent's representatives to the All-City Track Meet held last spring at the Stadium were Michele Boccio, Queen Janet Colao, and Lynda Edmonds. 21

1 ueen Emily Donna Baird and Spokesman Queen Emily Fatica, portraying Swamily, predicts a victory for the red and black during the Kiski rally. Chosen by the student body of Strong Vincent to reign as the 1965 Spokesman Queen was lovely Emily Fatica. Her school spirit, quiet charm and grace, com- bined with a warm personality make Emily a popular senior and a most worthy queen. Emily and five other contestants were nominated by the students as Spokesman Queen candidates. The girls carried on the traditional campaign with posters, slo- gans, and tags. They thus encouraged the students to purchase a yearbook so that they would be eligible to cast a' ballot for the candidate of their choice. Everyone joins the Spokesman staff in extending their sincere congratulations to Emily, an excellent choice. l

Lovely Patty Eckard reigns as Homecoming ueen The five lovely candidates for Homecoming Queen, nominated by the students of Vincent, were Chris Brodict, Kathy Ponsford, Jean Riester, Patty Eckard and Bobbie Brooke. The fourth annual Strong Vincent Homecoming Dance was held at the Shrine Club on November 28, 1964. The dance is sponsored by the student council with all proceeds used to defray the expenses of the council variety show. Her majesty, Patty Eckard, was chosen by the student body of Vincent to reign as queen. Her vivacious personality, warm smile, and school spirit makes Patty an excellent choice. Lovely Patty Eckard was chosen to be the queen of the fourth annual Homecoming Dance held at the Shrine Club. To win this honor, Patty was nominated and chosen by the student body of Strong Vincent. 22
