Gustavson, certainly possesses all three characteristics. He is a true representative of Strong Vincent when he portrays spirit and enthusiasm during the rallies and assemblies. Mr. Gustavson unites the school into a well-running, mechanized student body. His career began at Strong Vincent, where he taught English, History, P.O.D., and Economics. In 1946 he was promoted to assistant principal of Vincent and in 1959 to principal of Roosevelt Junior High. Due to the retirement of Mr. Gillespie, Mr. Gustavson once again returned to Vincent, this time as the principal admin- istrator. position. He is a firm, but understanding man and edu- cator. vital to our school J In charge of girls attendance, Miss Kuhn checks over an attendance sheet with Ann Duttweiler and Joanne Drinkwater. Under the guidance of Miss Margaret Kuhn, the many detailed tasks of an assistant principal are ex- pedited with efficiency. Girls attendance and discipline, and maintenance of the social calendar are but a few of her many activities. Seniors deeply appreciate the many hours she spends planning their commencement and other senior activities. Her contributions to such extra-curricular activities as the College Club, the Na- tional Honor Society, and the American Field Service are invaluable. Miss Kuhn works not only with the students, but also with the faculty, observing in the classrooms, helping new teachers, and serving as faculty social ad- visor. Her untiring elforts in her eleven years of service and dedication to Vincent have enriched the entire school.
