Wie realize that the result of our efforts-this publication-is but the hrst step in that direction, and we are sorry that conditions made it impossible to present a larger issue. However, we hope that in future years we may be remembered as the pioneers in restoring the annual to represent the graduating Seniors and the school which gave them some of the finest experiences of their life. VVe have enjoyed and have benefited from the interesting work which was entailed in preparing this book, and we extend our heartiest thanks to Miss Bennett, Miss Pearce, and Mr. Humphrey, the faculty members who have so ably cooperated with us in making the KERNEL possible. l6,.
