DHUTD CLUB The officers of the club are: President, Mary Frances Pfrimmer: vice president, Earl Taylor: treasurer, Paul Anderson: and historian, Betty Rose Morton. Under the direction of Mr. Conley, adviser to the club, demonstrations on photography were given at each meeting. These demonstrations were on the camera. developing, enlarging, printing, how to take good pictures, and many other phases of photography. The club has tried to interest all members in the avocation and to give them a greater knowledge about photography. The club has a book called. 'Campus Memories, which was started last year and has been kept up to date by the historian. In this book are contained all types of snap shots taken around the school of the Student Body by mem- bers of the club. Meetings were held twice monthly with a membership of forty-six. Two interesting feature programs were given in assembly by the Photo Club. All the officers were the same for the second semester. In accordance with the constitution of the new organization. the president appointed the following committees and chairmen of them as follows: IQADID CLUI3 Dots and dashes and lots of flashes seems to be the motto S. Radio Club, for this year they have been busy learning dashes and causing lots of flashes in their attempts to hook A few of the members have built short wave receiving selves and are planning on doing more work toward getting at S. ll. The membership in the club varies as does the weather, but we feel cer- tain that some day you may Tune ln and hear us telling the world. BUYS' LEAGUE The Boys' League started active business for the first time at the begin- ning of the school year. The students to take office at the beginning of the year did so. They were: President, Lester Terry: vice president, Everett Walkerg secretary, Paul Anderson, treasurer, Barrett Whitelyg yell leader, Billy Palmer, and faculty adviser, Mr. Manning. S. Hamlin, also of Porterville, on tralia and New Zealand, Dale Flint ---- School Betterment ---- Sigurd Knutson The Boys' League was entertained several times at its meetings. On Oc- tober thirty-first, Dr, E. N, Danner, who resides in Porterville, told of his in- teresting trip to Mexico. December fifth found the Boys' League listening to his trip to Aus- The boys intend to make the League one of the most important organiza- tions around school. So remember to watch the Boys' League during the years to follow. -311-
