IZDIQENSICS Some very interesting debates were held this year on the question, re- solved: That the several states should enact legislation providing for com- plete medical service, available to all citizens at public expense. Although there were no inter-school debates, a great deal of interest was created by the inter-class debates. Much credit should be given Miss Sher- wood, who was an excellent adviser. The senior class won the contest, and the senior negative side tied with the sophomore negative for the individual team championship. Those participating were: Freshmen, Martha Perkins and Arline Aesch- bacher, affirmative: Alice Ioyce Collins and Ralph Nickerson, negative: sopho- mores, Iva Mae Shepard and Dick Schuler, affirmative: Dale Flint and Bar- rett Whitely, negative, juniors, Marcia Gardner and Iessie Oldham, affirma- tive, lane Milhous and Ethel Marie Lightner, negative, seniors: Frances Fer- guson and Louis Roy. affirmative: Ruby Anderson and Wilda Bruce, nega- tive. -5g,.
