Yes that s how we the graduating class of 1958 looked when we entered the
first grade here at Strasburg in September of 1946.
We have come a long way since then and are about to terminate our education here
at Strasburg High. We would like to extend a special thank you to all of the teachers
who have helped us along the way.
Our last year at S.H.S. is recorded in this, our yearbook. We hope you will enjoy
reading about it as much as we enjoyed living it.
' The senior Class of 1958.

A NEW ADDITION TO STRASBURG HIGH
We of the 1958 graduating class are grateful for the opportunity to be able to use the new
facilities offered to us in the new addition to our high school.
Among these facilities were an Industrial Arts Department, an Art Department, Music
Department and a new set of offices.
We feel that the students of Strasburg High School have something to be proud of in their
attractive modern building.

As we, the members of the Class of 1958,
began our schooling back in the first grade,
the twelve years to graduation seemed a life-
time - compared to our age then, it was twice
our lifetime.
Now as we approach the end of our High
School days and look back over these same years
which have passed so quickly, we are filled with
mixed emotions.
Happily we recall the many pleasant days
spent with our classmates and schoolmates at
Strasburg High School. The parties, dances, and
picnics formed a very enjoyable phase of our
school life. These, we will always remember.
Even our classroom work is associated with
many pleasant memories - working together,
learning together, playing together, and sharing
our common experiences contributed to our happi-
ness.
But all was not so. We also recall the deep
gloom and hidden tears associated with our de-
spair in connection with a hard assignment, an
unexpected defeat in a sport activity or in our
own personal efforts.
Often we reached what appeared to be the
summit of happiness only to find the depth of
frustration was not far away. Thus we strength-
ened the fibres of our character. It is because of
all of these experiences that we can look so
confidently to the future.
We, the Class of 1958, wish to take this
opportunity to express our appreciation to the
residents of our community, our parents, and our
school - its administrative staff and faculty for
their efforts in our behalf. We will try to prove
ourselves worthy of your interest.
Today we Learn, Tomorrow we Lead.
