This season marked probably one of the greatest coaching feats Coach Krueger has accomplished in his eight years at Stoughton. The team’s perfect 9-0 record over the season was highlighted by a tremendous third final ranking in the state! Conference and school records fell right and left as All-American Dan Moeser, All-State Luther Selbo, Reggie Nelson, and Keith Fuller led the offensive onslaught that crushed every Viking opponent. After a disappointing fourth place finish in conference, Viking rooters can still look back and ooh and ah at the dazzling one-man show Stoughton’s Dan Moeser put on every Friday night. The fans will remember the three year service put in by Danny and his partner, Lute Selbo. (Individual conference and school records fell, and to none other than Danny.) Coach Marshall worked hard with the team all season, with its explosive potential just waiting to be unharnessed. But the team never did get jelled together, and that’s what makes a champion. 58- Lortn Grefsheim Steve Hiles Nick Paris Rick Hill 59 Skip Paton, Statistician John Selbo Dove SwingenFreshmen Won 9 Lost 4 C.
