Learning results from experience. Modern high schools provide activities, both curricular and extra-curricular, to enable pupils to have many and varied learning experiences. The guiding purpose in all of these activities is to train youth to take its place most efficiently and effectively in the home, in the community, in the state, in the nation, and in the world at large. Although Stonewall Jackson High School has only been organized two years, it provides a wide range of activities. Effort has been made to have activities on varying levels of interest to meet the needs of a cosmopolitan student body. A perusal of this book will give the reader a perspective of the activities in the school.
