HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING
When other days and other night
Have passed us by in timeless flight,
THE OPEN DOOR- -the friendly sight-
The warming welcome of the light
Brings back nostalgic mem-or-y
Of all the things that used to be.

DEDICATION
In eamest appreciation for your confidence in the student, we the
1956-57 staff dedicate this year's "Key" to Mr. and Mrs. Lester Fish-
er, who are both a true teacher, advisor, friend, and Christian couple,
Mrs. Fisher, we appreciate and admire the great task which you are
doing in the training of young people in the fields of Art and Music.
We realize that you have devoted your time, energy and skill to de-
velop the talents of these young people.
Mr. Fisher, we want to thank you for the personal interest you take
in each student. You combine the idealism of youth with the realism
of experience. We truly thank you!
To you Mr. and Mrs. Fisher we dedicate this "Key" as a symbol of
the honor you so greatly deserve.

Busy people each hour of the day,
Describes our activities in a mild way.
With operettas, pie suppers, song and danc
From Daniel Boone to Gypsie's camps,
Chuck wagon, carnival with gadgets galore,
The year has brought things not seen before
Bands, glee clubs, quartets, and P.T.A.
Future Farmers, Homemakers, and F.B.L
Ball games, speech club, outstanding plays,
They help us all in so many ways.
Tigers, twirlers and judging teams,
Enthusiasm bursting out in reams.
In contests, regardless of loss or win,
You have bounced right back to try again.
Homecoming Day, happy, though brief
We turn a page -- a memory leaf.

"BARNWARMIN"'
A festive occasion, the
annual "Bamwarmin' "! when
the walls of the shop are banked
with leafy branches, a throne
and seats have been built of
bales of hay, and the record
player is humming, the atmos-
phere is just right for an eve-
ning of fun.
In the contests of the even-
ing, Kenny and Dixie won in
corn husking, Bob and Joetta
captured the marshmallow
feast, David and Mrs. Coxey
were the winners in the egg
hunt, Jeanette and Joetta
proved themselves best at log
sawing, and David and Sue C.
won the apple bobbing,
No one left hungry for
there was pop corn, ginger
snaps, and apple cider for
everyone.
