Another wmnmg season was enyoyed by the Panthers under the leadership of their new
Varsity coach Bob Prudon The team showed that they had the spirit to win and did so They
won the Ingham County League champ1onsh1p for the first time in the school s history with a
record of twelve wins and no losses The team entered the Greater Lansing Hohday Tournaments
and won one and lost two games to two good Lansing B teams Later the team entered the
District Tournament with a 14 2 record and won their first two games and lost the last to Holt
Terry Ward was chosen the Most Valuable Player by the squad and Denny Collier Honorary
Captain
