Superintendentfs Message v 1 4 Greetings from the office of the Superintendent. I wish to commend the Senior Class and their sponsors for the excellent job they have done with this their first annual put out by the Sterling High School. They have worked endless hours that we might have this book of treasured memories. Also I wish to express my sincere thanks to the teachers, the board of education, the student body and the parents for the help they have given in making this aprofitable enjoyable school year. The results of your efforts can be seen in the many improvements made in the Physical Plant and also in an improved attitude toward school work general1y.A sense of pride is felt by most of our students. For this we are indeed grateful, because an education must be earned. It can not be given to one. Sincerely yours, Boyd Clark, Superintendent I 'HE hx' N, I U U i BOYD CLARK MRS. A continued peace will not be maintained by a greater show of military and industrial power but by a consistent and diligent search for the understandings of other nations' culture. What better place in America can this be done but by placing more emphasis upon them in our public school.
