Some do it for experience — some just drop by to say hello and never get away. Everyone gets his experience for what it is worth, whether he is looking for it or not. There are, of course, many people to thank — our parents and roommates for putting up with our odd hours, horrible moods and dispositions, and sleepless nights over deadlines; our instructors, who accepted our late assignments on the excuse of preparing and checking copy for our section of the yearbook; the photographer, publishers, and our sponsor, Dr. Gaston. However, Edith, we feel you deserve our greatest thanks. No staff could exist without an editor. You often shouldered a great deal of the work and carried the responsibility which all of us are glad we didn ' t have to carry alone. We also want to express our appreciation for putting up with us when we felt like screaming, holding us down when we felt like jumping, cooling off our " hot heads " , and cheering us up when we were in the dumps. Your kindness, understanding, patience, and tolerance helped many times during deadline pressures. You have made our work fun and worthwhile, as we feel that no one else could. Thank you!
