national Honor Socie ty A goal aimed for by many but gained by few is membership in the National Honor Society. The fourfold qualifications for membership-scholarship, leadership, service, and character: the stately Initiation Assembly, the festive breakfast held at the end of each semester, and the green tassel on the graduation cap, each and all, demand the admiration and respect of those who are not fortunate enough to qualify as members.
