5 THE CRUI E Ns., On 26 April 1973. USS STEIN KDE-1065, with Cap tain John E. Mitchell, Commander, Destroyer,Squadron Five embarked, and in company with USS AGERHOL M fDD-826J, departed from her homeport, San Diego Califor' f ' nia, or her Maiden Deployment to the Western Pacific.
