EXECUTIVE OFFICER Lieutenant Commander MAFtTl came to STEIN from George Washington University in Washington, DC, where he earned a masters degree in Financial Management. Lieutenant Commander MARTI was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 9, 1938, and graduated from Lane Technical High School, in the city, in 1956. He was commissioned an Ensign, U.S. Navy upon graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy on June 8, 1960. Previous tours of duty have been as Gunnery Officer, USS ORISKANY QCVA-341, Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer and Operations Officer, USS JOSEPH STRAUSS fDDG-161, Weapons Officer on the Staff of Commander Cruiser-Destroyer FLOTILLA NINE, and Administrative Assistant and Personal Aide to the Director, Navy Program Planning in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations.
