Introduction B y
Supermtendent Morey
A yearbook is more than just a picture book It is a
permanent record, for all time, of the many activities that
have taken place during the year. I still enjoy looking at
old annuals from my own high school days and reliving the
nappy times and many years from nov you will be doing the same.
The 1953 Sh annual represents a great deal of work on
the part of the annual staff and they have done a very fine
ob.
I agree whole heartedly with the annual staff in its ds
cision to dedicate this book to the memory of Paul Duman
Paul will be remembered in our school as having offered
an example of outstanding citizenship, which will always serve
as an inspiration to our student body
Pau1's tragic death deprives the community of the use of
his qualities of citizenship in adult a1ra1rs.
We hope that this annual and those to follow reflect a
steady growth in our school of those ideals by which Paul Duman
lived.
