His highest honor that he now holds is first place in the H1974 Virginia A.A.U, Teenage Olympics Championship. 1 These three students, Kathy Sellars, Clinton Western and Martha Hoskins were selected to represent Staunton River at the Radford Math Rally on December 4. Students from all over Virginia took this exam to test their mathemati- cal ability. fen- 'ik Cindy Tuck was the Senior girl awarded the DAR Good Citizenship Award. Liz Harkrader was the winner of the Bedford lr. Miss Contest in November. Liz was one of five girls who represented Staunton River. The other girls were Helen Eades, Diane Tuck, Cindy Tuck and Gloria Sellers. Not only did Liz win the Bedford lr. Miss title but she was voted Miss Congeniality by the other contestants. Those on Klass- room Kwiz representing our school were Glenda Kasey, jeff Moles, and Clin- ton Western.
