Girls' Track was a newcomer to Staunton River sports this year. The team put a lot of work into making it a good year. The 2-3 record of the team was good for a start and several team members went as far as the Re- gional Meet in competition. leanette Hall also represented SRHS at State. Members of the group partici- pated in several tournaments, in- cluding those in Gatlinburg and Bris- tol. To finance these trips, the students and sponsors worked dili- gently to raise money in many ways. The one event which caused the most excitement was the Faculty Talent Show, in which many of our faculty had an opportunity to share their many abilities with the student body.
