Girls' Track was a newcomer to Staunton River sports this year. The team put a lot of work into making it a good year. The 2-3 record of the team was good for a start and several team members went as far as the Re- gional Meet in competition. leanette Hall also represented SRHS at State. Boys' Track The boys' track team had another good season, finishing with an 8-3 record. Individual performances were excellent, with many of the team members setting new records. Only a lack of depth in several of the events kept the Eagle trackmen from being closer contenders for the district championship.
