The Talon features articles such as editorials and reports on sports, clubs and class activities. A new edition was added to the school paper this year. It was Our Page containing student writing and po- etry. There was always plenty of material for dedications and gossip which was one of the most popular pages. The junior Science Club is a group of 8th and 9th grade students who are especially interested in science. Each year they work on projects, usually associated with beau- tifying the school. The garden in the court- yard of A-building is a continuing project of the club. The lr. EYRI E Staff Struggles to Meet Deadlines Each year it is the task of the year- book staff to begin with 150+bIank pages and to create a meaningful memory of the year. The 1975 Eyrie staff began with little experience and a great deal of enthusiasm. After months of taking and select- ing pictures, writing copy and design- ing layouts, the work is finished. janu- ary and February, with the final two deadlines, are hectic and sometimes panic-filled. Somehow the work all gets done. Hopefully, the final result of their hard work will be a book that has captured the essence of the 1974- 75 school year, one of which every- one can be proud. -u-xl as Sponsor Mrs, Mitchell is entertained by the staff.
