The junior Science Club is a group of 8th and 9th grade students who are especially interested in science. Each year they work on projects, usually associated with beau- tifying the school. The garden in the court- yard of A-building is a continuing project of the club. The lr. The Drill team members are QL. to RJ Lee Ann Carter, Dawn Henderson, Teresa Seay, Brenda Forrest, ludy Duncan, Susan Subleu, Connie Foutz, Barbara Holland, Susan Moorman, and Tina Hogan. The Goldenettes, with their sponsor Miss Susan Fauber, worked closely with the band in coordinating their marching activities and dance routines to the music provided by the band. The Talon features articles such as editorials and reports on sports, clubs and class activities. A new edition was added to the school paper this year. It was Our Page containing student writing and po- etry. There was always plenty of material for dedications and gossip which was one of the most popular pages.
