FCA Essentially, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at SRHS is a Christian service or- ganization designed to promote Chris- tian stewardship throughout the student body, It strives to make the Christian Doctrine manifest in student athletes' behavior and influence. FFA The Future Farmers of America is an organization for young men inter- ested in the field of agriculture. Their aim is for the development of agricul- tural leadership, cooperation and citi- zenship. Some projects of the FFA have been to hold Gospel Sings and to help in community roadside clean- ups. As a BOAC project they painted Pooles Feed and Farm Supply Store, and also tore down old buildings in front of Moneta Farm Service. They are in the process of building a park in Chamblissburg. They wasted no time waiting for the year to progress before starting projects. At the first of the year SR pen- nants and posters were sold. To cheer up the patients at Bedford County Hos- pital they made gifts to give to them at Christmastime. The FHA has also at- tended the Fall Federation meeting at jefferson Forest, Degree Program and they took a trip to the Roanoke Civic Center Craft and Art Show. bfi? . i . Ng .
