She is active in Kappa Zeta Nu. and she was also a member of Spurs during her Sophomore year. Jolcne Allen is an Elementary Education major from Cho-teau. She is a member of SNEA, Kappa Delta Pi, and chorus. Jolcne has been active in Rainbow Girls and received the Rainbow Scholarship in the Spring of 1978. Melodcc Adsit is a Broadfield Physical Education major from Hardin. She is active in PEMM Club and womens inlramurals. He serves as the vice president on Central Board, he is a member of Circle K Club, and he received a PEMM Club scholarship. Debbie Brooks is a Physical Education major from Phillips-burg. She is involved with girls’ basketball and women's intramurals. She was also a member of Spurs during her Sophomore year. Melanie Bumgarner is an Elementary Education major from Belt. Tom Davidson is an English major from Indianapolis, Indiana. During his years at Western, he was the president of Gargoyles, and he participated in the production of five plays. He is the recipient of the Joseph C. Ryburn Memorial Drama Scholarship, and a third place winner in the 1978 Western Montana College Poetry contest. Violctc Cicerone is a Music major from Dillon. She is active in Kappa Delta Pi, Music Company, Pep Band. Chorus. Chorale, and the AWS Council. 86LouAnne Harnack is an Elementary Education major from Great Falls. She was a former member of Central Board, and a Spur during her Sophomore year. She is a chorus member, and is also active in Music Club. Dennis Colder is an Industrial Arts major from Hamilton, he was the recipient of the Jim Spehar Memorial Scholarship. He was also a member of the Industrial Arts Club, and active in Ski Club. Paulette Held is a Business and Physical Education major from Whitehall. During her Sophomore year, she was a member of Spurs. She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, PEMM Club, and women’s intramurals. She was also the recipient of the Dufresne and Advanced Honor Scholarships. Debbie Keyser is a Music major from Florence. She was a member of Central Board and is the Secretary of the Student Body. She was the recipient of an AAUW Scholarship. Diane Rcwerts is an Elementary Education major from Miles City. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi. a Chorale accompanies! for four years, and the vice president of Kappa Zeta Nu for one year. She was the recipient of the AAUW Scholarship and given the Ralph McFaddcn award for music in 1976. Marilyn Palmer is a Biological Science major from St. Ignatius. She is the president of Kappa Zeta Nu. was editor of the 1978 Chinook yearbook, and also a member of Music Club. Jim Oriel is an Elementary Education major from Belgrade. He had a four year football scholarship, and he made all Conference First Team in football. He was a four year track letterman, and he was also the M Club president, and both the president and vice president of Circle K. He was also the recipient of the Maicr Miller Memorial Scholarship. 88Betty Jean Tash is a Health and Physical Education major from Dillon. She is an active member of women's intramurals and PEMM Club. She is also involved in intercollegiate track and volleyball. She was involved in R.O.T.C.. Kappa Delta Pi, Kappa Zeta Nu. and Spurs. Michael Schulz is an English and Elementary Education major from Sheridan. Its contributions include almost 650 freshman scholarships, values at approximately SI00,000. During the 1978-1979 academic term. Boosters awarded 48 grants in the amount of $200 each. Recipients, selected on the basis of leadership and scholastic excellence, are required to maintain above-average grades throughout their scholarship year.
