During the past year, Boosters increased their number of $200 freshman grants from 40 to 51 with recipients selected on the basis of scholastic excellence and leadership potential. These scholarship awards are divided into quarterly payments, requiring the maintenance of above-average grades throughout the academic year. The organization's membership, including area citizens from all walks of life, now totals over 140, each of whom contributes financially to the annual scholarship program.
