Bonner prints color issue Constantly the center of action, Bob- cat Banner staff members reported with professional accuracy subiects of interest to the student body. The first edition of the Banner was a six-page publication, a first for Star- Spencer. To brighten the Christmas holiday, the Christmas issue appeared in green print. With the aid of the Bobcat staff, Banner reporters hosted a Christmas Brunch in honor of the faculty.

JETS, Science Club, VICA, and Electronics Club Young engineers form club Four clubs served the scientific and technically minded students through- out the 1969-70 school year. Offering a new and separate pro- gram for those with a special interest in engineering was the nationally sponsored Junior Engineering Techni- cal Society. The JETS sponsored an engineering aptitude test and a geo- logy field trip in the fall. Science Club, no longer affiliated with the FSA, rewrote their constitu- tion and participated in a lecture and field trip program in addition to con- structing a prize-winning Homecom- ing float.
