Student Life 'Halloween' theme unique October 31 set the mood for the Halloween-inspired hi-iinks of Home- coming. Balloon-carrying clowns snaked in and out among the wind-whipped floats. Pep Club marchers, booming bass drums andconvertibles bearing the All-Sports court, moved slowly by hundreds of Bobcat boosters viewing the parade. Pulp the Patriots, iunior class float, took first place carrying out the parade theme, Halloween. Seniors of '71 netted their second first-place float in two years. Coronation of. the '69-'70 All-Sports Queen brought comic relief to alumni and students. Somehow, Halloween sorcery iinxed the Cats, who scored 22-36 in a clash with Putnam City West. Even losing the game couldn't break blithe spirits. Halloween happy stu- dents danced to the Purple Oslum at the Homecoming dance held in the gymnasium after the game.
