Student Life '70 sporks with enthusiosm September breezes blew in an aura of excitement and the school year be- gan. Strange faces became familiar as friendships began in halls, parking lots, and on athletic fields. With the start of extracurricular ac- tivities came tense waiting before, and tearful congratulations after heated competition. Special assemblies gave students a chance to show off their special talents Three-thirty arrives and pandemonium strikes as students anxiously rush through gathering mobs and abilities, thus adding, quickly to growing school pride. Habitual reaching for books, passes to the library, and names of teachers took the place of easy summer living. New seniors shouldered the respon- sibility of leading Star-Spencer's 1,197 students in the manner that satisfied previous upper-classes. Fall began, and with it the new school year. to awaiting cars and buses as they begin their trek home. is ESQNQ
