Bachelors invaded the Home Eco- nomics Department this year taking Boys' homemaking. Girls completed studies in advanced Foods and Clo- thing, child guidance, and home dec- orating. Art provided students with an outlet for constructive creativity, while Physi- cal Education developed athletic skills. A Negro History took its place in the Social Studies Department along with Oklahoma History, U.S. History, and economics. Psychology and humanities classes studied aspects of man and the arts. Courses covering skills ranging from Commercial Art to Diesel Mechanics were offered at the Vocational-Tech- nical Education Center. Office Practice provided business students with on- the-iob training in secretarial skills.
