Language Arts, Science, Math Solid subiects pove future Language Arts, science, and math departments laid a foundation of skills lneeded for advancement in high school education. Physics is Phun! became the credo of juniors and seniors enrolled in proi- ect physics. Labs enlivened classwork in chemistry and biology courses. Communication was the by-word of the Language Arts department. English paved the way for work in iournalism, creative writing, French, and Spanish electives. Two three-act plays were presented by the drama department this year. Rounding out the math department were algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and advanced studies in math analysis classes. l ABOVE LEFT: Mike Thigpen, fr., explains a prob- lem to his geometry class.
